Report
It was very windy (no rain tho), cloudy, over some bit of the course there was so much mud (and crocodiles) but we had fun as always!
:)
The "Pick Clean and Place" rule suggested by our Mr Chairman (Tim, who had to drop the field last min unfortunately) worked and the scores were not at all bad!
Our very strong
Warren, the gentle Cannibal, made it again after his legendary win in the first
Edition, while runner-up was an in-form Stuart (congrats!).
For the other prizes the winner had to be called Martin:
Longest Drive at
hole 13 and the Special Pasta Prize (from being Defending Champion to Pasta! not
an easy task) to Martin Walters and Nearest to the Pin to our Deadly Quack
Martin Dowling
who also came up third in the stableford competition.
It seems that Martin after his winning drive (it was really against the wind!) decided to spend a few additional shots to finish hole 13 but who cares?
:)
A long time was needed at the final presentation to explain
how to prepare the Illy coffee won by the Martins using a proper Italian moka
machine (like a small Dalek)...:)
